Watch as Ross fills the washer jet wash bottle on a Ford Focus.
All cars need windscreen / windshield washer fluid.
In some countries it is a legal requirement especially for motor vehicle testing.
It is cheap and very effective and you can do it yourself quite easily.
Washer fluid comes in different colours and concentrations.
Some are due to differing temperature conditions.
Please read the instructions on the container first.
It is advisable that you try to avoid using household liquid products as they may freeze up, cause smearing, have trace amounts of grit, bleach or unsuitable ingredients or even just not work at all.
Use a funnel or cut the bottom off a plastic bottle to help direct the fluid into the washer bottle.

In this video Paul shows you how to make a simple HHO gas generator at home using a glass jar and coax cable.
Cut 2 lengths of coax to 18".
Use 2" of insulated dielectric.
Wind copper wire 10 - 15 turns.
Punch suitable sized holes in jar top.
Remove foil and cut insulator into 1" lengths then push through holes in lid. Push wire through then pipe/tube through other hole.
Using a glue gun, secure them in place.
Watch as Ross demonstrates how to change/replace the front amber indicator/blinker bulb on a Citroen C5.
Very easy and no tools needed.
It's recommended you wear gloves or if not available then a tissue or clean cloth when handling the bulb as direct skin contact with the glass may shorten it's life.
Paul shows you how to remove an old rusted exhaust bracket clamp and replace it with a new one.
This is not a difficult task.
Using ramps, axle stands and chocks, all inexpensive.
Latex/nitrile gloves and eye protection recommended.
A 13mm or 1/2" wrench and a ratchet with a deep socket or 2 wrenches.
Some exhaust paste.
The car in the video is an Audi A3. The same procedure would apply to just about any cars exhausts that have brackets and clamps.
Please think safety first. Do not attempt this if you are unsure or do not have the correct tools and equipment.
In this video Paul and Will show you how to fit a budget dashcam/actioncam to the rear window of a car to deter tailgaters.
This is a fully working camera that is capable of recording 720p to a micro sd card but we decided to set it up as a deterrent dummy camera (Not active) but the tailgaters will not know this.
The car used in this video is an Audi A3 8P but it could be fitted to any car.
You could set this up on your motorcycle, truck, van, etc, with the correct attachments.
If you want to take the time then you could wire it in with a long Mini to USB lead (some connectors vary) to your 12V socket to be a working recording device.
The dash/action cam and sucker attachment was purchased online for less than €£$ 20.
Only tool needed for this task is a trim removal tool or a flathead/blade screwdriver to lever back the trim panel.
Watch this video and Ross will show you where to find the spare wheel in a Citroen C5.
It's safely strapped in with the necessary tools in the wheel well under the carpet in the boot or trunk area.
With some older Citroens it may be located under the bonnet or hood while with some others it may be securely bolted under the back of the car or van.
It's a full size wheel and not a space saver. Some new and recent cars do not even have a spare due to space and weight saving but instead may supply a foam and pump kit.
It's recommended that you check you tyre pressure regularly for your own safety. An under inflated or over inflated tyre may affect the handling of your car and may not last as long as intended.
In this video Paul shows you how to fit a weatherproof 240V/220V 13A double outside socket and wire it yourself.
Tools needed.
Tape measure, Marker/Sharpie, Bubble/Spirit level, Hammer, Drill and drill bits, Screwdrivers, Rawl plugs, Screws, Stanley/Box Knife and a length of electric cable.
Think safety. Wear eye and ear protection.
Make sure the electric cable is not live when wiring.
Do not attempt to wire this socket if you are unsure.
Voltages and wiring colours vary from country to country.
In this episode of Driveway Dudes, Paul shows you how to bleed, remove, fit and prime a diesel fuel filter on Will's 2007 Citroën C4 1.6 HDi.
Tools and miscellaneous used:

Driveway Dudes Paul shows you how you can easily upgrade your old NiCd battery pack to a NiMH battery pack cheaply and easily.
For under €5 you can do it yourself.
Paul removes an old NiCd memory pack and replaces it with a memory free pack.
The old pack was 9.2V 700mAh and the new is 9.2V 2600mAh.
NiMH batteries don't take the load as well as NiCd and are said to drain twice as quick so 2600mAh would realistically convert to 1300mAh which is still almost twice that of the old pack.
Being memory free, the NiMH pack can be charged as often as you wish.
Think safety when using tools.
Make sure you have the correct charger for NiMH. Some NiCd chargers will but not all can charge NiMH safely.
NiCd are not environment friendly and are considered toxic. Please dispose of your old batteries as per your local Laws.

In this episode of Driveway Dudes, Paul and Will shows you how to clean your EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Valve, Inlet Manifold and Inlet Valves without removing any of them.
This is a home experiment and an unbiased use of JLM Diesel Air Intake & EGR Cleaner. Similar products are available.
This product is designed to dissolve carbon deposits, gum and varnish build up. It should restore air flow to the engine thus improving power and acceleration while reducing exhaust smoke.
Paul & Will did their best to follow the instructions on the can. They adjusted the throttle and amount sprayed accordingly.
This product is a hazardous material, it is extremely flammable and harmful to skin, lungs and eyes. We strongly recommend wearing gloves and eye protection. Please read the instructions and warnings carefully.

In the episode of Driveway Dudes due to popular demand from our viewers, Paul, Ross and Will (kind of scientifically, but not really) test if you can really clean a wheel without any soap or wheel cleaners.
We carried out three methods of cleaning the wheel:
1. The stiff bristle brush from the first video and a bucket of plain water.
2. A hose with normal tap pressure.
3. A 1600W Power Washer with 90-100 Bar or pressure.
Just like our first "Which is Best?" wheel cleaning video we used another one of Paul's BMW alloys with up to 15 years of accumulated brake dust, dirt, road tar and wheel weight glue.
This is a home experiment designed to fulfil the requests of our viewers.
Paul, Ross and Will did their best to mask the wheel into three sections. Paul, Ross and Will tried as close as possible, to spend the same amount of time cleaning with each method.
Paul, Ross and Will chose a day with the best possible conditions to carry out DIY cleaning and avoided direct sunlight where possible.

In this video Driveway Dudes Paul shows you how to Assemble a flatpack footstool with just 3 basic DIY tools.
In the previous video Paul showed you the 15 essential tools for a DIY beginner https://youtu.be/wSgCxVae2fc
He then used some of those tools to assemble the flatpack footstool in less than 10 minutes.
Please think safety. Tools can be dangerous is used incorrectly and accidents can happen.
In this video Driveway Dudes Paul shows you 15 essential tools every DIY beginner should have.
Since the beginning of human existence we have used tools whether it be stones used for hammering or flint for cutting, sticks for scraping and poking things, etc
We all need tools to carry out even the smallest of jobs around the home.
Having the correct tools will make it easier and the more tools the better.
You can never have too many tools but you can have too few.
Paul shows you the bare minimum and what he considers essential tools you would need and should have.
Think safety. When working with tools, wear protective eye wear and gloves if possible.
In this video Driveway Dude Paul shows you how to easily replace a quartz wristwatch battery yourself.
This is quite an easy task and can save you a lot of money. The average price for a 1.55V silver oxide replacement battery is €2 / $2 / £1.50 whilst a jeweller will charge you for replacement and labour costs which can vary due to the make and model of your timepiece.
Once you know the replacement battery code you can order is cheaply online.
There are 2 types, the 'W' (low drain) and the 'SW' (high drain) for the same code of battery.
The 'W' is designed for basic wristwatches with no special functions and the 'SW' for multi-function models.
You can use 'SW' in both types of wristwatches but it is not recommended you use 'W' in multi-function models.
Many wristwatches have different ways to open the casing so be sure to have the correct tools before you attempt it.

It can cost as little as 50c but no more than 2-3 € £ $.
This is an easy and straight forward job that can be carried out on your driveway or on the road. No need to pay a garage or workshop un-necessary money.
Only tool necessary is the flat head blade screwdriver that you'll find in the toolkit in the trunk with the space saver wheel.
I also had to use a needle nose pliers but you may not have too.
It is recommended you wear gloves to avoid skin contact with the glass as it may shorten the life of the bulb.
