How To Carry Out An Oil And Filter Change

Will and Paul drain the oil, replace the oil filter and refill with new engine oil on a 2008 Audi A3 8P 1.9TDIe.

A few tools and a little know how and you can do it too.

Tools -  Trolley jack and axle stands for safety.
              Ratchet with 19mm socket for sump bolt.
              Extension bar/s with 32.5mm socket for filter housing.
              Torque ratchet.
              Oil drain tray or something suitable to catch oil.
              Small blade screwdriver (if necessary).

The same may apply to other Audi, VW, Skoda and Seat models with the same or similar engine.

Sump bolt torqued to 30Nm and filter housing torqued to 25.5Nm.
