In this video Driveway Dude Paul replaces / upgrades his number plate/licence plate light units with CanBus friendly SMD LED's on his 2002 BMW 5 series E39.

The SMD LED units were purchased on a well known auction/buy it now website and cost less than $10/€10/£10.
This is a straight forward and easy to follow video.
You may only need a Philips and/or Blade screwdriver to do this.
It is recommended you wear Rubber/Latex/Nitrile gloves to avoid skin contact with units.
