Got at the tools we may need ready and about to get to work
Taking wheel off after checking the wheel bearing. Presenter/cameraman Paul is removing the wheel bolts and also filming his work.
Caliper and brake pads checked. Caliper may look a little worse for wear due to the Irish roads, but is in perfect working order. Brake pads have plenty left even after 40k km of use.
Filming another episode of Driveway Dudes for YouTube. This time we're changing the oil, oil filter and purging the fuel filter.

Presenter/Cameraman Paul has just just put the new copper sump plug washer on the the sump plug. He is test fitting it before Presenter/Cameraman Will bolts the sump plug back into the sump before finishing off the service on our 2007 Citroen C4 1.6HDi
How to do things on your driveway
As a family we have always had an interest in doing things ourselves.
We have set a channel on youtube called driveway dudes with the intention of demonstrating things that can be done by the average person with a few basic tools.
At the moment we have several how to's -
Opening the bonnet / hood on a Citroen C5,
Replacing a light bulb on a Citroen C5,
Adjusting the ride height on a Citroen C5,
Removing and replacing a car battery on a Citroen C5 and Alfa Romeo 146,
How smooth a bmw six cylinder is with the glass of water test,
Resetting the trip service indicator on a Citroen C4.
Listening to an Alfa Romeo 146 starting up for the first time in nearly a year.

Our latest is a maintenance check for the Citroen C4 prior to it going for it's mandatory National Car Test (Ireland) We check the wheel bearing, Brake disc and brake pads.
The cars that we are able to carry out work on are as follows:
BMW 5 Series, Citroen C4, Alfa Romeo 146, Fiat Qubo/Fiorino, Citroen C5, Ford Focus and Seat Ibiza.
Motorcycles include: Kawasaki ZXR750H1, Yamaha RD80MX, Piaggio Vespa PX125E.
We hope to be able to upload at least one video a week but will upload as many as we can as often as we can.
